Working with ServPro East/Mid-City, after we experienced a water leak in our home, was a very easy process. Within two hours of noticing the leak, Issac came to our home to immediately begin the water remediation process. Dehumidifiers were installed; followed by fans, removal of drywall, mold removal, pack out, and removal of damaged flooring. Isaac was extremely professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Claire, the office contact person, was quite friendly, organized, and easily accessible through each step in the process. Claire communicated well with our insurance company and kept me "in the loop". On one occasion, the company owner even showed up, at the same time as our insurance adjuster, which enhanced communication and cohesiveness in getting the job done. The pack out personnel took great care in accounting for and safely packing our belongings. I highly recommend ServePro East/Mid-City should you need water remediation services in the future.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this ServePro location. Initially, everything was great and communication was on point. Claire W was amazing and kept us in the loop every step of the way. When she was promoted to a new position, we got a new representative and that is when the ball was completely dropped. I was informed that Randi would handle our case and we only heard from her once before she left on vacation. While on vacation, no one in the office updated us on the progress of our house. It took multiple calls to the office to get any information. At times, I was told I would get a call back and never did. I was ghosted by Seth (rebuild contractor for ServePro) after we told him we (nor our insurance) would not approve a full roof repair based off of Google earth images and that the roof contractor would need to actually step foot on our property to inspect the roof before we agree to any work. The manipulation team was amazing and very professional. After moving items back, they left something here and although I was not able to find the item at first (an iPad), I did end up finding it. When I called the office and talked to Anna, I informed her it was here and the lock box that belonged to them was still on our door. She said she apologized and informed me that if the manipulation team could not make it out that day to grab the two items, they would be back the next business day but she would call me back to let me know what day and what time they would show up. This morning I got the scare of my life when I heard my front door open. Turns out, Anna informed the manipulation team they could come back today to enter our house to grab the iPad but never called me to let me know. I did inform her that I do work from home so a call back with a date and time that the team could be back would be appreciated. When I saw them at the door, it gave all of us a scare and turns out, Anna never told them that they had to take the lock box with them.

I am giving one star for Claire who was a rock star and communicated with us and fought our home insurance with us. Another star for the manipulation team who were amazingly kind, professional, and speedy.
