We love our comfortable sofa and refused to get rid of it because of the stains that have come throughout the years. Thankfully, Dr, Carpet (Peter) was able to restore our sofa and it looks good as new! Definitely recommend this company! They have wonderful community and customer service!

I can’t say enough about Pedro & his carpet cleaning business!!! He & his assistant did an amazing job cleaning the carpets in a 3/2 bdrm rental home in Livermore that a family member was moving out of. The first time he cleaned it looked great & then he came back two more times for minor spots that were already on the carpet when my daughter moved in & the landlord wouldn’t let it go. Pedro patiently addressed any issues & discussed the different treatments he could use for different types of spots. He was available by phone to answer any questions from the beginning on.
In the end all the carpets looked brand new & they were 8 yrs old.
I have lived in the Pleasanton/livermore area for 40 yrs & used many of the top rated carpet cleaning companies but Pedro was a step above them all. He is very professional, knowledgeable & a kind person. Highest recommendation!!

I made the grave mistake of choosing another carpet cleaner over them and I regret it so much.

We just moved into a house and before moving all of our heavy furniture in, I wanted to deep clean every inch of the place. I ended up choosing another company because the price was cheaper, and I deeply regret it. They were responsive, in and out quickly, the price was fair, but the stains I had on my carpet and rugs never came out - it actually got worse.

Even though Pedro did a great job of explaining the methods and tools they use at Doctor Carpet Cleaner, I ended up choosing the other company to clean my carpets because of price (I should have just paid the extra $40 for DCC vs going cheap) and because I didn't think we really needed to deep clean anything, but I was wrong.

Pedro came over today to clean my partner's 4 year old mattress. The water he showed us at the end was disgusting. He really took his time, explained everything thoroughly, and just did an amazing job.

Here are 3 great things about Pedro & his team:
1. Pedro wore shoe covers. Crazy enough, the company I hired did not - saying how I did not set that expectation with their employees to wear shoe covers while CLEANING MY CARPETS. They said that they’ve been doing this for a while now and I’m the only person that has ever complained about them not wearing shoe covers… when I explained that they are a carpet cleaning company and shoe covers should be part of the service, the owner didn’t care. He just kept going in circles saying I’m the first person to have complained about it so I left it at that.

2. Any water that dripped onto our floors or carpets, Pedro and his team cleaned up. The other carpet cleaning company dragged in rocks/leaves/dirt, left water droplets all over my living room and left without cleaning up their mess.

3. They took their time and never tried to push and sell us on any other service.

Unfortunately, all of our heavy furniture are in all of our rooms, but I will definitely be reaching back out to Pedro and his team to get anything cleaned in the future and I can't recommend him enough to the rest of East Bay!!

Pedro was awesome! He cleaned 2 of my rental houses and did an incredible job. I heard of his work from a friend and I was not disappointed. I will be hiring him for all of my rental houses and personal house in the future. He was incredibly thorough and had all of the right tools for the carpets and mattresses. Do not hesitate to hire him.

I've had several companies come to my house. But Dr. Carpet really surprised me. Pedro was very polite, kind and professional. I looked for this company to learn about the 10-step carpet cleaning method! I've never really seen any special care, as the companies I've always hired do everything very quickly, always looking for quick money. Pedro, did the work technically and correctly. I have pets, so I asked also the ozone treatment, Combating bacteria, odor, fungi and dust mites. In addition to doing the complete cleaning work, they also sterilized all the rooms. My perception is that as they are entering the market, quality and differentiation matter more than time x money! Despite being a new company, Pedro has the IICRC Certification for technical carpet cleaning. Without me asking, he presented me with the Certificate himself! I hope that after it gains strength in the market, it maintains this quality of service and work!
