I have worked with Maid with Joy for several years across three different apartments/condos. They were able to put me on a consistent cleaning schedule with a day and time that worked best for me. If I need to reschedule a cleaning, they are very responsive and communicative about finding a new time slot that works. I really appreciate how fast Lorraine is to respond to me, and mostly over text which is a plus! I have had the same cleaner, Angela, for years and she has done a great job cleaning my place and paying extra attention to small details. I highly recommend Maid with Joy!

First crew that was sent out was terrible.
2 people were supposed to arrive between 10 and 11. A mom and son (or brother and sister?) arrived at 11:30 and came with one broom, a disgusting mop and a bucket. No vaccuum, no floor cleaner, no mirror spray. Oh and they used my entire roll of paper towel.

RECTIFIED:
They sincerely apologized and sent a new cleaning crew to rectify the situation (granted they were supposed to be here between 3:30 and 4 but came at 4:45) and these 2 women did a magnificent job in less time than the first crew had. If this is how the usual experience is than I will be a returning customer. Thank you.

I do not normally, write bad reviews about businesses as I know how hard to deal with people in service industry. However, this was the worst cleaning service, I have ever received. We bought a new home so we just ask them to clean the floors and wipe the cabinets in a empty house that wasn’t super dirty. They didn’t wipe down a single cabinet. They are still dusty and never been touched. I was planning to just move in instead I’m a cleaning the entire house again. I wouldn’t have mind them charging 90 dollars extra if got the job done.

This is just unacceptable.

The cleaning staff who clean my Uncle's apartment every other week perform miracles. They can turn the messiest apartment into a showplace. My Uncle has trouble keeping his apartment clean, and the crew from Maid With Joy come in and clean and keep the apartment in good shape so that my Uncle can continue living independently. The pricing is reasonable, the cleaning crew is accommodating and willing to work in very messy conditions as has been necessary sometimes in my Uncle's case. Management also communicates well regarding scheduling. I highly recommend Maid With Joy, and the cleaning crews that have cleaned for my Uncle.

I paid for a deep clean, their employee didn’t mop, didn’t clean the windows, didn’t open any of the closets, asked if she had to clean the refrigerator and she still didn’t touch the refrigerator shelves or the freezer. I had to help put the stove back together which I had never done before but was pretty simple to figure out. She made my bed without thinking to wash the sheets (I have an inhome washer and dryer). I had to wash and put away my own dishes. I usually clean my apartment myself thoroughly and it is well kept so there wasn’t an abnormal amount of work to do. She didn’t sweep under anything and she didn’t put back anything she moved to clean around where she found it. I paid the full $130 for a (deep clean) plus a $20 tip to be kind, but I will not be using this service again

SECOND TIME I used this service, a asked for a deep cleaning again, and was very specific about what I I needed done. I asked for them to mop, they dry moped only part of the floor, missed the pitches and the floor by the balcony, I could still white up visible dirt right after they left. Again I gave a tip to be kind, and mopped the floors myself. I live in an 800 square foot 1 bedroom and keep it neat so this should not be a difficult job
