They are really special and good cleaners importantly.

We hired Broom in Hand during a very difficult time in our parents’ lives. My dad was battling Stage 4 Colon Cancer, and with all of the appointments, exhaustion, and just other priorities, the house was the last thing on their list. For Christmas, us kids were trying to figure out what we could gift them that would make their lives a bit easier, and we decided to chip in and get them a cleaning service. In comes Broom in Hand! They were very helpful in answering our questions, and my parents were very happy with Melissa and her work. They also very much enjoyed her company and looked forward to their sessions. with everything going on, we had to reschedule, change things last minute, and be an overall pain of a client, but they were all so understanding and supportive throughout the entire process. We are so grateful we found Broom in Hand, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a cleaning service!

8/30: This is an addendum to my previous review. The previous review was 2 stars for a deep clean. This new 4 star review is for a standard clean. Though I was not happy with the level of deep clean, and felt that the work was even less than that of a standard clean, I am now rating this as four stars for a standard clean. As a standard clean, the team did a decent job. Forgetting vacuuming is still a big deal in my mind, which is why it’s its not 5 stars. This change is in part because Sam, the owner, was amazing with communication and wanted to make sure we were happy. I appreciate communication, as this is not common in today’s world.

8/26:This company may be good for regular cleans, but I would never recommend them for a deep clean. We had 2 Deep Cleans through this company
and neither cleaning were “deep.” The cost was ~$400/clean. For reference our house is 3 bed/2 bath and barely 1000sq ft. Also, these deep cleans were less than 2 months apart, so hadn’t acquired the typical level of grime for which a deeper clean is needed. We got bamboozled on our first deep clean, as we had schedule for this to be done prior to moving into our new house and weren’t living there yet. That deep clean was a superficial clean. It wasn’t a bad job, just superficial. We decided to try them a second time, giving the company the benefit of the doubt that they might do a better job if we were home. WRONG. This was again a basic clean for ~$400. The cleaners didn’t bring a vacuum and since we moved in less than 2 months ago and get our house cleaned regularly, I hadn’t purchase a heavy duty vacuum. Had I known they wouldn’t bring one, I would’ve used a different cleaning company or bought one for them to use. It’s frustrating because we specifically asked for vacuuming when scheduling the second deep clean, since this was not done on the first deep clean. Over all, we’ve spent $800 for 2 deep cleans in 2 months and could’ve gotten the same superficial job done for less than $200 each time. The women were pleasant and trustworthy, and this rating is nothing personal against them.

Before moving into our new home, we hired Broom in Hand to do a deep clean first. They were able to schedule us for a next day appointment, and Marceli was our assigned representative. She did an absolutely outstanding job from top to bottom. We couldn’t be happier!!!
