Truly an awful experience with NW Maids. We had to call them out twice to deep-clean our condo but we keep on finding spots that they never cleaned. Smear marks on all of our appliances and countertops. This to me isn't a professional service and we are very disappointed.

We called NW Maids for a move-out cleaning at the last minute. We had originally planned to do it ourselves, but after a long difficult move out we just didn't have it in us to clean. We were excited that they were able to send someone out the next day!

The maids showed up on time, even gave us a 15 minute notice for arrival like we asked. However, they showed up in a busted van with plastic taped over broken windows. We didn’t even know who they were or if it was legitimate until they told us details only the company would know. We had specifically asked for a good vacuum since we had carpet cleaners coming out the next day who wouldn't do the carpet cleaning if the floors weren't vacuumed. Unfortunately, they didn't even appear to have vacuumed. Corners had crumbs/lint/stuff and there were zero vacuum lines.

They did not sweep before they mopped, either. Tons of stuff on edges and in corners. It made a gross mess in areas mopping over crumbs (we have small kids, the floor is usually riddled with goldfish crumbs). They used a lot of water “mopping” and we had to grab some towels to soak it up as to not damage the flooring. When I walked through the house in socks after it was dry, the socks were black. It was definitely not clean.

They didn’t dust ceiling fans (we did not have vaulted or high ceilings). They dusted nothing. They didn’t clean appliances (an advertised service for the “move-out clean” package).

Everything else was done half-a$$ed if at all. They didn’t clean the sink, any bathroom fixtures, windows/sills, they did absolutely zero dusting. The house looked awful and they were TERRIBLE coming to a resolution. They charged us $500 and only a $150 refund - for literally doing a terrible job and missing NUMEROUS areas they promised to clean. I do not recommend and if you value a good clean or return of your full rental deposit, use anyone else. This company felt like a scam through and through.

They offered to send someone back to fix it, but we didn't have time to do it as the carpet cleaners would be in first thing the next morning. Additionally, the confidence we had that they could handle this was entirely gone. They would not discuss this on the phone and kept ending conversations on the phone so they could text. Terrible work, terrible service. We are now disputing with our financial institution. Save yourself the hell and hire someone else. Anyone else.

**update. Company commented below advising to “reach out to resolve”. I took a shot and reached out and they haven’t replied or responded. The comment pretending to care is just for show. Seriously, find a different company for your cleaning needs.

Cancelled our monthly cleaning when.
1. The cleaner missed about half of what we asked them to do.
2. We were charged for extra time after being told we weren't over our allotted time.
3. Customer service wants me to go back and try and photograph all the dirt that was missed to be eligible for a partial refund.

What a joke. I am going back to a local neighborhood cleaner recommended by neighbors. Don't waste your time.

Communication was fine and it seemed to go well, but the results were confusing as I’m not sure they actually cleaned anything. This was a move out deep clean so the unit was empty, but the counters felt like they were not touched, I saw small spots everywhere and the bathroom tub also seemed untouched. Usually after these cleanings, the unit smells of some sort of cleaner but I smelled only the previous tenant. Maybe I’m wrong but I get the impression that they walked in and walked out without doing anything.

Great customer service from the agency. Detailed questions of what I wanted done and recommended the correct service. The cleaner was on time and friendly and did a great job.

I purchased a move out cleaning special with this company. I was told if I was unhappy with the services they could return same day, which was very important to me as I scheduled it for the last day. If I was told it may take more than same day I could have and would have scheduled it before hand. Upon finishing, the house was only marginally cleaner, dirty water was left all over the floor, the floors were sticky to my shoes, dirty water was used to clean the cabinets and they were left streaked, dirt left in all of the corners, windowsills just wiped along the top but not dust/dirt removed, dishwasher left dirty, no light switches touched. When I called to ask how we can get this resolved (last day in the apartment and 390 dollar hold on my bank account) they said they would try and find someone to come back out that day. Our start time was 9AM that day. I asked if they couldn’t get someone out same day to let me know right away so I could cancel my work shift and clean it myself but they assured me they could arrive to finish the job at 7pm. Just before 7pm I was told they couldn’t make it but could return tomorrow. I would have to coordinate
with the landlord beyond that day and it was after working hours. I asked them when they could return the following day to try and coordinate but didn’t hear back until the morning, a couple hours before they showed up without confirmation, putting another 300+ dollar hold on my bank account (a total now of almost 800 dollars and a dirty house) without permission. My money has been returned but the whole situation was extremely unprofessional and I would never utilize this company for a service again as it is important to me for a job to get done right the first time. I was later told the employee had a family emergency which is heartbreaking, I hope they are okay and I hope the company works to have a management staff that supports their employees when emergencies arrive so that they are supported and the business still runs.

Lanise was on time and did a fabulous job! I used them to clean the house after we moved out. The buyer's realtor commented on how spotless the house was. Price was affordable and worth it! I highly recommend NW Maids!

Our cleaner was very friendly and personable. Arrived promptly and worked really hard to give great service. Will definitely use NW Maids again!
