I had a very disappointing experience with FirstOne Services following a ductwork service on September 14 in the Jacksonville area. During the service, the technician disconnected a wire, causing our air conditioner to stop working and leaving my parents without cool air for nearly two days. It was a nightmare. We even had to order new capacitors, which seemed suspicious since the issue arose immediately after the ductwork service. FirstOne claimed it wasn't within their scope of work.

I ended up having to hire another HVAC company, who quickly identified the issue—a loose wire left behind by FirstOne. It was frustrating to have to bring in a second company just to clean up their mistake.

To make matters worse, when I contacted FirstOne about the issue, they initially agreed to cover the repair costs. However, attempts to follow up by phone and email were met with poor customer service. David, who claimed to be the supervisor, and another individual named Michael, both cut calls short with promises to call back, which never happened. Their website's contact form was also unresponsive. Despite boasting about five-star Google reviews, I couldn’t find any until another dissatisfied customer pointed me to a duct cleaning company with the same address as FirstOne on my invoice. After two weeks with no check or update, they became unhelpful and dismissive.

Adding to the frustration, the invoice they provided was filled with spelling errors, further reflecting a lack of professionalism.(check the attached image)

Overall, my experience with FirstOne Services was incredibly frustrating due to their lack of accountability, poor communication, and failure to resolve the problem they caused. I would not recommend their services.
