I needed a one off cleaner. They found me one. The online booking service was easier than with another agency I have used.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I used a cleaner who decided on her second clean not to turn up. When I tried to find out where she was she said couldn’t make it and her phone was broken. She then text at 2am wondering if I wanted to reschedule. I decided not to use her again and contacted the company. She now refuses to return my house keys.
The company have been promising to get my keys back for 3 weeks. They said they would visit her property and collect them, fine her, send a courier to pick the keys up. None of this has happened.

To make matters worse, they are now saying that they are merely an introducing service between the client and the cleaner, therefore cannot get my house keys back from the cleaner.

I am now informing the police.

My advice, do not use!!

I have been using Tidychoice for 6 years now for general cleaning every week and I was lucky to have the same cleaner Eglute all along this year and it is precious! Great relationship, great quality and a great feeling to start the weekend every week with a clean house. Highly recommend Tidy choice.

I am not a customer. I am a cleaner. The reason I gave 3 stars is that TidyChoice found me work just days after I completed my application, interview and profile. However, there already has been a downside. I noticed a few people giving reviews have complained about the actual cleaning services, which is understandable because nothing is ever perfect and people may fall short. On the other hand, the people who hire cleaners need to check themselves. They need to determine and realize what is realistically possible for the cleaning job. Is it fair to expect a cleaner to clean an oven, fridge, freezer, small appliances, surfaces bathroom ,windows, all baseboards, bathroom and windows in 4 hours, especially if a house has not been cleaned in months? The dust was so thick on some of the baseboards it looked like a decoration. Customers also need to make sure they have the cleaning utensils and other products needed. I cleaned for someone who did not even have a broom and who had borrowed an old dirty ratty mop from her neighbor. Another customer asked me if I had brought a mop with me.

I've learned from my short experience that it is important for the cleaner to be honest with the customer about what they can reasonably expect and not to take a job that is outside of their competency level. Also, think TidyChoice needs to express this to all cleaners and to ensure that customers determine what is realistic and fair for the cleaner.

I have known and worked with Olabisi for many years. She is dedicated, enthusiastic and ready to learn new skills. She is respectful and punctual. I have never had bad experience working with her . She always smiles and brings ideas to the team .

I always end up back at TidyChoice after perusing the competition. TidyChoice often have the best choice of cleaners and the most competitive prices. Not every cleaner works out but switching to a new one is easy enough. The web infrastructure is decent enough and they are hungry for feedback on how to improve.

This company posts job ads on most platforms. After applying, submitting your documents and fulfilling all the requirements, before obtaining a job you are notified that it is a position for self-employment. This is never indicated in their ads on any platform. It's a waste of time, and most likely a way to get data from potential job seekers. The reliability and legality of this company is not at all clear.
